Clifford is not the brightest marker in the box, but he certainly likes to eat them (markers, that is. And crayons and colored pencils and Play-Doh). Both the dogs chew on small toys and discarded diapers/pull-ups (yes, ew, but normal), but Clifford's appetite for art supplies is uncanny. It's as if there is some artistic urge in his tiny brain, yet, in the absence of thumbs, his only form of expression is...consumption. Or maybe his poop is his art. It's certainly colorful.
Please bow your heads in silence to mourn the marker that died to give Clifford these green spots.

But green is your favorite color - and he looks so cute. Seems as if maybe Clifford is not as dumb as you think. He now has the notoriety.

Maybe dogs are particularly drawn to green. Callie ate a green grading pen right after we replaced carpet in our house. When we tried to clean the green spot, it turned into a light green patch about 5 times bigger in diameter. We had to pay for someone to come individually die the little green carpet hairs. My point? Fall on your knees and be grateful for that tile! (But don't fall on the tile...that would hurt.)
If Clifford was a girl he could come do arts & crafts with me this summer. It is clear that you do not appreciate his creative efforts, poor thing...
